To the deep cold South Atlantic
The deaths and pain on both sides
Pointless,wasteful and frantic
We searched far and wide
For weapons of mass destruction
But it soon transpired
They were never under construction
Tony and George launched the war on terror
The special relationship's biggest error
Lives wasted buried in dust
Just who were we supposed to trust
We battle on in unjust war
I question what we are fighting for
For oil for wealth we'll never know
Or is it a case of 'We told you so'
